Travel Registered Nurse NICU Job

Overview

A Registered Nurse is needed for a 13-week night shift assignment in Lodi, California, starting August 24, 2026.

Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for neonates per established standards of care and the nursing process
• Monitor patients closely, recognizing clinical changes and intervening per unit protocols
• Administer medications and treatments, operate NICU equipment, and ensure patient safety
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, social workers, and other disciplines to plan and coordinate care
• Supervise and direct activities of various levels of nursing staff, maintaining professional discretion and judgment
• Document care accurately, participate in rounds, and support family-centered care and education for families

Requirements

• Ability to work nights in a high-acuity NICU setting
• Demonstrated critical thinking and independent judgment in patient care
• Effective communication with multidisciplinary teams and families
• Adaptability to a travel assignment and adherence to unit policies
• Proficiency with NICU monitoring equipment and documentation
• Commitment to delivering standards-based nursing care in a Level III/IV NICU environment
