Travel Registered Nurse Med Surg Tele Job
Overview
Travel Registered Nurse – Med Surg Tele, Glenwood Springs, CO. Begin 08/04/2026 for a 13-week assignment with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Pay range: $2,011 to $2,150 per week. Shift: 12-hour nights, rotating with weekend coverage; may require participation in a call rotation. Setting: hospital-based Med Surg Acute Care/Observation Unit.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct, professional nursing care to adult Med Surg/Observation Unit patients using the nursing process.
- Assess patients, develop and implement individualized care plans, monitor responses to treatment, and document accurately.
- Administer prescribed medications and therapies; monitor for adverse effects and interactions.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care, discharge planning, and patient/family education.
- Maintain patient safety, infection control, and quality standards; assist with CCU needs as needed.
- Participate in handoffs, ensure accurate charting, and contribute to a supportive, patient-centered environment.
Requirements
- Active Colorado RN license.
- BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association).
- Flu vaccination for the current season (no declinations).
- Experience: minimum 2 years in Acute Care/Med Surg/Telemetry or similar RN experience; at least 3 years RN Med Surg experience.
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts with weekend rotation; willing to participate in call rotation as required.
