Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to adult medical-surgical patients, including assessments and ongoing monitoring
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments per physician orders; observe for adverse reactions
- Perform routine nursing duties (vital signs, wound care, specimen collection, tubing/catheter care) and assist with procedures
- Document care and observations in the electronic medical record (Epic) and maintain accurate patient charts
- Floating between medical floor and surgical/oncology units as assigned; prioritize patient safety and timely care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team, participate in care planning, and provide patient and family education
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Montana
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Minimum 2 years of Med Surg experience; prior travel experience preferred
- Proficiency with Epic EMR or strong EMR experience
- Ability to float between medical and surgical/oncology units as needed
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program and active RN licensure
About the Role
This position requires crossing Med/Surg units as needed and working within a float pool environment.
Benefits and Support
- Guaranteed hours: 36 per week
- Weekly pay: $2,008–$2,098
- Assignment duration: 13 weeks
- Start date: 08/02/2026
- Shift: 12-hour day shifts, 2x3-day pattern
