Travel Registered Nurse Med Surg Job
Key Highlights
- Weekly pay: $1,580–$1,643 per week
- Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week

- Shift: Night shift, 3 consecutive 12-hour shifts

- Work setting: Med Surg in a short-term acute care hospital
Responsibilities
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for each patient using the nursing process.
Administer medications and treatments per physician orders; document accurately and legibly.
Provide patient and family education from admission through discharge; participate in discharge planning.
Monitor patient status, communicate pertinent changes to the physician, and respond to urgent situations calmly.
Supervise and direct the work of nursing assistants as appropriate; ensure supplies and equipment are available and functioning.
Requirements
- Ohio RN license (active)
- CPR certification required
- Completion of an accredited nursing program (Diploma, ADN, or BSN)
- Previous RN Med Surg experience preferred
- Ability to work nights in a hospital Med Surg setting; ability to handle multiple priorities and complex patient needs
