Job Summary

Talented Medical Solutions is seeking a CVOR RN for a contract position in Tuscaloosa, AL.

About the Role

Provides leadership to other team members by articulating and delegating expected standards of care, supervising and encouraging team members, and supporting their contributions. Supervises LPNs, PCAs, PCAs/US, US, Ortho Techs and other non-licensed staff.

Responsibilities

• Maintains standards of professional nursing practice and creates positive therapeutic relationships with patients/families.
• Circulates between units and hospitals as needed.
• Works 5x8 schedule of 40 hours per week.
• Floats to other units and hospitals as required.
• Coordinates and directs quality, compassionate care.
• Supervises LPNs, PCAs, PCAs/US, US, Ortho Techs and other non-licensed staff.
• Willing to work holidays and every other weekend.

Requirements

• Associated degree in nursing.
• AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and RED CROSS certifications.
• Registered Nurse state of Alabama or compact license.
• 2 years of experience in the field of specialty, or 18 months with 1 year of recent experience.

Qualifications

• No temporary licenses accepted.
