Travel CVOR Registered Nurse

About the role

This position involves providing specialized perioperative care in cardiac surgery, including scrubbing or circulating for open-heart procedures such as CABG, valve replacements, and transplants. The role requires maintaining sterile techniques, managing complex cardiopulmonary bypass setups, and handling advanced cardiovascular technology. The nurse must respond swiftly to emergencies like hemorrhages or cardiac arrests during surgery.

Responsibilities

• Assist in complex cardiac surgeries with expert sterile technique.
• Operate specialized CVOR equipment and technology.
• Support rapid response to intraoperative emergencies.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse license (state or compact) prior to employment.
• Diploma from an accredited nursing program.
• Minimum one year of RN experience in acute care settings.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.

Skills

Additional Preferences: Over one year of acute care experience and relevant certifications per contract requirements are preferred.
