Travel CVOR Registered Nurse

Role Overview

This position involves providing specialized cardiac operating room support, including scrubbing or circulating for complex heart surgeries such as CABG, valve replacements, and transplants.

Responsibilities

• Maintain strict aseptic techniques and manage sterile setups for cardiopulmonary bypass procedures.
• Operate and troubleshoot CVOR technology, including cell savers and intraoperative monitoring tools.
• Respond swiftly to emergencies like massive hemorrhage or intraoperative cardiac arrest.

Qualifications & Skills

• Valid RN licensure (compact or state-specific) prior to assignment start.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
• At least one year of RN experience in an acute care setting; additional experience in cardiac surgery preferred.
