About the role
The Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in Phoenix, Arizona. The RN is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients requiring a moderate level of monitoring and treatment. This role involves collaborating with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans and supporting patient safety and recovery.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments within 8 hours of admission.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Participate in patient rehabilitation activities.
- Initiate discharge planning and patient education from day one.
- Ensure effective communication and documentation of patient status changes.
- Provide supervision and direction to ancillary nursing staff.
- Maintain a focus on safety, quality outcomes, and cost-effective care.
- Pursue ongoing professional development and contribute positively to team dynamics.
Float rotation may be required.
Requirements
- Valid BLS Certification required prior to first shift.
- Valid ACLS Certification required prior to first shift (CIRH only).
- Minimum of two years bedside clinical experience highly desired.
Schedule
- 12-hour day shifts.
- 36 hours per week minimum.
- 13-week assignment starting 08/17/2026.

Pay
Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
