Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Home Health We are seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality home health care to patients throughout Howard and Carroll Counties, Maryland. Position Details Position: Travel Registered Nurse (RN)Pay Rate: $53-$55/hrWeekly Hour Guarantee: 32 hoursCoverage Area: Howard and Carroll CountiesSchedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PMOn-Call Requirement: Yes — once weekly, Monday–Friday, approximately 4:30 PM–8:00 AMMileage Reimbursement: Yes — mileage between patient visits, from the first patient to the last patientDress Code: Navy blue scrubs Job Responsibilities Responsibilities The Travel RN will provide skilled nursing services to patients in their homes while ensuring safe, compassionate, and high-quality care. Responsibilities include: Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized plans of care.Provide skilled nursing care in accordance with physician orders and established home health standards.Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes to physicians and the interdisciplinary care team.Perform medication management and patient/caregiver education.Provide wound care and manage complex wounds, including wound vacs.Perform central line care and other skilled nursing procedures.Manage and care for Foley and suprapubic catheters, including insertion as appropriate.Perform venipuncture and other ordered nursing procedures.Provide PleurX catheter care as needed.Complete required clinical documentation accurately and timely.Coordinate care with patients, families, physicians, and other members of the healthcare team.Participate in the on-call rotation once per week, Monday through Friday, from approximately 4:30 PM to 8:00 AM.Travel between patient homes throughout Howard and Carroll Counties. Required Qualifications Current Registered Nurse (RN) certification/license.Previous home health nursing experience is required.Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.Ability to work independently in a home-based environment.Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills.Ability to travel throughout the assigned coverage area.
