About the role
The PICU RN provides advanced specialized care to critically ill infants, children, and adolescents in high-acuity settings.
Responsibilities
- Comprehensive patient assessment
- Implementing complex care plans
- Administering treatments and medications
- Operating advanced medical equipment such as ventilators and monitors
- Monitoring patient conditions and vital signs
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Educating patients and families
- Documenting all care activities accurately
Skills

Qualifications
- At least one year of recent PICU RN experience
- Valid RN license
- Current BLS and PALS certifications (ACLS and CCRN preferred)
