About the role
Cardiovascular Pediatric Intensive Care RN (CVPICU RN) providing specialized care for pediatric patients with complex cardiovascular conditions.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
- Assist physicians during examinations, treatments, and procedures, including life-saving interventions
- Monitor vital signs such as blood pressure, breathing, and heart rate, and interpret continuous cardiac and respiratory monitor readings like EKG tracings, O2 stats, and waveform data
- Provide post-operative care following cardiac surgeries
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong knowledge of pediatric cardiovascular care
- Proficiency in monitoring and interpreting vital signs and monitor data
- Ability to assist in complex procedures
- Ability to work effectively within a healthcare team and respond to urgent situations
