Guaranteed hours: 35 per week
Weekly pay range: $1,616 to $1,709
Shift: 5x8 Days (08:00–16:30)
Setting: Skilled nursing facility
Responsibilities
- Implement and adjust therapeutic activities under the supervising PT, per the plan of care
- Provide therapeutic exercises, gait and mobility training, and functional activities
- Maintain infection control practices and ensure a safe, clean treatment environment
- Monitor patient progress, document in charts, and communicate findings with the PT and interdisciplinary team
- Absorb and assist with equipment setup, transfers, and safety precautions to protect patient well-being
Requirements
- Active California Physical Therapy Assistant license or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Graduation from an accredited PTA program (associate degree required)
- CPR/BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year of related clinical experience in LTAC or skilled nursing settings preferred
- Ability to work in a skilled nursing facility and support a 13-week travel assignment
- Availability to work the specified shift pattern (08:00–16:30) and meet guaranteed hours
