Overview

Physical Therapy Assistant – LTAC in Llano, TX, starting 08/10/2026 for 13 weeks.

Weekly pay range: $1,435–$1,576 with 40 guaranteed hours per week.

Shift: Days, 8-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Provide PTA services under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist to evaluate and treat patients in a LTAC setting.
  • Implement treatment plans through prescribed exercises, gait and balance training, manual therapy, and other therapeutic interventions.
  • Monitor patient progress, document responses to treatment, and report results to the supervising PT.
  • Educate patients and families on home exercise programs, safety, and follow-up care.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with policy, safety, and infection control standards.
  • Collaborate with nursing and therapy staff to support discharge planning and patient transitions.

Requirements

  • 2 years PTA experience (required)
  • Texas PTA license or Compact license (active) (required)
  • Ability to work under supervision of a PT in a LTAC / LTC setting
  • Effective communication and collaborative teamwork skills
  • Eligibility for travel assignment and ability to meet the demands of a fast-paced LTAC environment
