Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy assistant services under the supervising licensed PT, contributing to treatment planning and goals.
- Implement and modify therapeutic exercises and activities according to the plan of care.
- Apply modalities and functional activities as ordered, assessing patient response and safety.
- Document patient progress, changes in status, and any adverse reactions in a timely manner.
- Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary care team to support continuity of care and discharge planning.
- Maintain infection control, equipment safety, and patient privacy in all encounters.
Requirements
- Availability for a 13-week travel assignment starting July 20, 2026.
- Ability to work a 5x8 schedule with shift hours of 08:00–16:30.
- Willingness to work in Fair Lawn, New Jersey.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with the supervising PT and care team.
- Commitment to patient safety, documentation standards, and professional practice in a travel setting.
