Responsibilities
- Deliver physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed PT, following established plans of care
- Implement and modify treatments targeting mobility, strength, balance, and functional activities
- Support ROM, gait training, endurance, and functional mobility sessions; assist with transfers and positioning as needed
- Monitor patient progress, document outcomes, and communicate changes to the supervising PT and care team
- Ensure safety during therapy sessions, maintain equipment, and adhere to infection control and documentation standards
- Contribute to discharge planning and collaboration with nursing, rehab, and social work teams to optimize patient outcomes
Requirements
- Active Maryland Physical Therapy Assistant license or current eligibility to practice
- Graduation from an accredited PTA program (associate degree)
- Ability to work in a LTAC/long-term care setting and support a 36-hour weekly schedule
- Prior LTAC or skilled nursing experience preferred
About the role
This position is a 20-week travel temporary assignment starting August 24, 2026.

Pay
Weekly pay ranges from $1,545 to $1,636, with guaranteed 36 hours per week.
