Start date: 10/12/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $1,434–$1,518. Guaranteed hours: 35 per week. Shift: 8:00 AM–4:30 PM. Setting: skilled nursing facility.
Responsibilities
- Deliver Physical Therapy Assistant services under supervision for residents with LTAC needs, focusing on mobility, strength, and functional activities.
- Implement and monitor treatment plans created by supervising PT, adjusting as needed based on patient response.
- Facilitate therapeutic exercises, gait and balance training, ROM activities, and functional mobility tasks.
- Document patient progress accurately, communicate results with the supervising PT and the care team, and contribute to plan of care updates.
- Assist with discharge planning, patient education, and caregiver instruction to support continuity of care after transfer or return home.
- Maintain patient safety, proper body mechanics, and adherence to infection control and facility policies.
Requirements
- Active Physical Therapy Assistant license or credential (as applicable).
- Ability to work effectively in a skilled nursing facility environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with the care team.
- Eligibility to work in the United States for a travel assignment.
- Availability for a 13-week assignment with a consistent 8:00 AM–4:30 PM schedule.
