About the role

Travel Occupational Therapist (OT) responsible for evaluating and developing care plans for patients with varied disabilities in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Review patient histories
• Evaluate conditions
• Create treatment plans with specific goals
• Assist patients with daily tasks
• Assess home and workplace environments
• Educate families and employers
• Recommend and instruct on equipment use
• Document patient progress
• Ensure compliance with billing and reporting standards

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of experience (new grads encouraged)
• BLS certification
• NBCOT-OTR certification
• State-specific licensing

Skills

• Ability to stand, walk, bend
• Solid knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology

Requirements

• May require additional certifications prior to assignment start
