Highland Oaks Health Center’s newly opened Therapy department is looking for caring, compassionate Occupational Therapists to join our team. Part-time, full-time, and PRN opportunities are available.

About the Role

As an Occupational Therapist at Highland Oaks Healthcare Center, you will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each patient. Your expertise will help patients develop, recover, and improve the skills needed for daily living and work—such as dressing, grooming, feeding, and personal care. You will also educate patients and their families on proper techniques and strategies to promote independence and overall well-being.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify occupational therapy needs and develop individualized treatment plans
• Implement and modify treatment plans as needed to achieve patient goals
• Provide education and training to patients and their families on proper techniques and strategies
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment plans
• Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in occupational therapy
