Walla Walla, Washington – This home health occupational therapist position involves providing skilled therapy services to adult patients in a community-based setting. The role requires managing a caseload of approximately 4-5 patients per day, with a focus on delivering quality care through individualized treatment plans, documentation, and timely communication.
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled occupational therapy services to adult patients in a home health setting
- Manage a caseload of approximately 4-5 patients per day
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Complete timely and accurate documentation using Homecare Homebase (HCHB)
- Maintain regular communication with patients and healthcare team
- Occasional travel within a maximum radius of 100 miles (personal transportation required)
Requirements
- 1 year of recent skilled occupational therapy experience (within the last 3 years)
- Washington state license or compact license
- BLS certification
- OASIS experience (required for staff completing Start of Care in home health settings)
- Proficiency in Homecare Homebase (HCHB)
- Active driver’s license and personal transportation
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with adult patients in a home health environment
- Familiarity with home health electronic documentation tools
Certifications
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy)
Schedule
- 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday
- Minimum 40 hours per week
- Day shift
- 13-week assignment starting 09/07/2026
