Travel Home Health Occupational Therapist - $2,665 per week

About the role

American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist for a home health position covering the Fairfield/Napa area, open to new grads with a valid CA OT license. The role provides occupational therapy services to home health patients across assigned territory including Vacaville, Fairfield, Rio Vista, Suisun City, Dixon, Vallejo, Benicia, Napa, American Canyon, and Yountville. Willingness to see COVID‑positive and COVID PUI patients may be required, and the assignment may require weekend coverage or travel outside the primary service area to maintain caseload. Former employees of the facility are not eligible, and all requested time off must be disclosed prior to assignment confirmation.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to home health patients across the assigned territory.
• Be willing to see COVID‑positive and COVID PUI patients as required.
• Potentially provide weekend coverage or travel outside the primary service area to maintain caseload.

Requirements

• Current, active California Occupational Therapist license (if applicable).
• Minimum 1 year of experience required.
• BLS certification required.
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and auto registration required.
• Home health experience preferred but not required.
• New graduates are welcome to apply.
• Required documentation: annual TB test, MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Tdap (within 10 years), annual flu vaccine, drug screen, and physical exam.

Skills

• Home health occupational therapy experience (preferred).
• Ability to work independently and manage a caseload across multiple counties.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
