About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN DOU - Direct Observation Unit for a 13-week assignment starting July 27, 2026.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Assess patients' conditions and document observations accurately.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report significant changes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Illinois.
- Current BLS certification.
- Experience in Direct Observation Units preferred.
Qualifications
