About the Role
Provide patient care, education, and discharge planning in a hospital telemetry unit.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for diagnostic tests
- Monitor post-procedure recovery
- Maintain infection control standards
- Ensure safe medication administration
- Educate patients and families
- Monitor patients during procedures
- Ensure compliance with healthcare standards
Requirements
- Minimum of 2+ years of nursing experience in telemetry or similar units
- Strong knowledge of patient care procedures and safety protocols
Skills
- Excellent communication for patient and family education
- Adherence to infection prevention practices
- Medication safety practices
Schedule
36 hours weekly with 12-hour shifts.
