Schedule

  • 40 hours per week
  • 8-hour night shifts (1900–0730)
  • Weekends as needed

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of patients in an inpatient environment. This role requires competency in delivering care to a primarily adult population.

Requirements

  • 2 years of RN – ED/Trauma experience
  • Current state of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the NLC (Nurse Licensure Compact)
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA-approved equivalent
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
  • Trauma Nurse course certification (TNCC)
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required within one year of hire

Qualifications

  • Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice acquired through education at an accredited School of Nursing, qualifying for licensure as a Registered Nurse
  • Associate’s degree in nursing (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
