About the role
The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of patients in an inpatient environment. This role requires competency in delivering care to a primarily adult population. The position aligns with the essential functions adapted from the ANA Nursing: Scope and Standards of Practice, 2nd Edition (2010).

Schedule
- 13-week contract
- Three 12-hour shifts per week, 7p-7a (nights)
- Every other holiday, every third weekend
Responsibilities
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for an identified group of patients in the emergency department/trauma unit.
Requirements
- 2 years of RN - ED/Trauma experience
- Current state of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the NLC (Nurse Licensure Compact)
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA-approved equivalent
- American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Trauma Nurse course certification (TNCC)
- American Heart Association (AHA) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required within one year of hire
- Associate’s degree in nursing from an accredited School of Nursing

Pay
Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
