Froedtert Health is seeking a travel nurse RN Trauma ER - Emergency Room for a travel nursing job in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for a designated group of patients in an inpatient environment. This role requires competency in delivering care to a primarily adult population.

• Schedule: 3x12 - (3x12) Tuesday-Thursday 1915-0715
• Hours per week: 36 hours

Requirements

• 2 years of RN - ED/Trauma experience
• Travel experience required
• Telemetry competence required
• Level 1 Trauma required
• Current state of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the NLC (Nurse Licensure Compact)
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent
• American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Trauma Nurse course certification (TNCC)
• American Heart Association (AHA) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) is required within one year of hire

Qualifications

• Clinical competence and experience in the care and management of target patient populations specific to the area of employment
• Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice, typically acquired through completion of education at an accredited School of Nursing, making the candidate eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse
• Associate's degree in nursing
