About the role
Operating Room RN with rotating shift responsibilities. This role involves performing circulating duties in complex neuro, spine, ortho, and vascular surgeries. Some experience in complex procedures and robotic cases is preferred. The position requires flexibility with shift hours, including on-call responsibilities and rotating weekends and holidays.
Schedule
Variable hours based on need, including 7:00 AM, 9:30 AM, and 1:00 PM shifts. At least 1 weekend per month on call. The work week will consist of 40 hours.
Responsibilities
- Perform circulating duties in complex surgeries (neuro, spine, ortho, vascular)
- Work independently in surgeries such as ortho, spine, and neuro
- Scrub experience highly preferred
- Flexibility with shift hours, including on-call and rotating weekends/holidays
- Work mandatory overtime as needed for coverage
- May be floated or reassigned within a 30-mile radius to meet operational needs
Requirements
- 4-5 years of operating room (OR) registered nurse (RN) or combined OR experience
- Circulating experience required
- Scrubbing experience highly preferred
- Experience in neuro, spine, or orthopedics, particularly with DiVinci robotic cases, is preferred
- Comfortable performing independently in ortho, spine, and neuro surgeries
- Ability to work within a 30-mile radius of the assigned facility
