Travel Nurse RN - OR - Operating Room - $3,435 per week
Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Nurse Santa Rosa, California. This opportunity involves providing specialized surgical nursing support within a busy acute care facility. The role requires a highly skilled nurse capable of managing trauma, neuro, vascular, and orthopedic cases, with flexibility to cover night shifts as needed.
Job Details
- Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, minimum of 48 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- Valid California license;
- at least 2 years of OR experience, including trauma, neuro, vascular, and ortho cases;
- BLS certification;
- experience with Epic charting system;
- ability to float between units;
- willingness to work major holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in high-volume trauma or acute care settings;
- certification in trauma or specialty areas;
- prior travel experience preferred.
Additional Information
- Night shifts are staffed with 2 RNs or 1 RN and 1 surgical tech, with coverage possible on one night shift per contract.
- Must be willing to work 2 out of 3 major holidays, including Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year.
- Candidates must include RTO restrictions and submit two references covering the past year.
