Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse - $3,115 per week

Job Summary

A healthcare organization is seeking an Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) in the en_US area. The role involves circulating and potentially scrubbing for complex neuro, spine, and orthopedic surgeries, with a focus on independence and experience in special procedures such as DiVinci robotic cases. The position requires flexibility with shift times and availability for on-call weekend rotations.

Responsibilities

• Circulate for complex neuro, spine, and orthopedic surgeries
• Potentially scrub for surgical procedures (highly preferred but not required)
• Perform independently in surgeries listed
• Participate in on-call weekend rotations (at least 1 weekend per month)
• Maintain flexibility with variable shift times (7a, 9:30a, 1p as needed)
• Work rotating weekends and holidays
• Report within 30 minutes when on call
• Accept mandatory overtime as required during the assignment
• Accept potential floating or reassignment within 30 miles of the original facility, within clinical competence

Requirements

• 4-5 years OR RN or combined OR experience
• Circulating experience
• Strong neuro, spine, and ortho surgical skills
• Knowledge of DiVinci robotic procedures
• Ability to scrub (highly preferred)
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Flexibility with schedule and on-call requirements

Schedule

• 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week
• Variable shift times based on need: 7a, 9:30a, or 1p
• No block scheduling
• On-call at least 1 weekend per month
• 30-minute report time
• Rotating weekends and holidays
