Travel Nurse RN - Intermediate Care - $2,880 per week

Job Summary

Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) Nurse in the local area is sought for a temporary assignment starting on September 21, 2026. This position involves providing specialized patient care in a high-acuity setting, with responsibility for implementing treatment plans, managing patient conditions, and ensuring optimal outcomes. The role requires collaboration with the healthcare team and adherence to established clinical protocols.

Position Description

• Delivering advanced patient care in a designated unit, including managing insulin drips, cardiac drips, starting IVs, and post cardiac catheterization care.

Required Qualifications

• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required;
• AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required;
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required prior to start;
• Minimum of 1 year telehealth experience required;
• Epic Electronic Medical Record experience from within the past 2 years is required and nonnegotiable;
• Valid New York license, or proof of application with applied date, required in packet at the time of submission.

Shift

Shift: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Float rotation may be required.

Additional Information

• Assignments are scheduled from Monday to Sunday, with bi-weekly orientations on Mondays.
• No block schedules for any reason.
• The role requires all work history information to be complete, including bed count, EMR, and facility type.
• This facility does not have accessible public transportation; reliable transportation with all-season or snow tires during winter months is strongly recommended.

Pay Package

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
