Travel Nurse RN - Intermediate Care - $2,668 per week

Schedule

• 12-hour shifts, days and nights
• Shift: 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM (block scheduling is never promised or guaranteed)

Responsibilities

• Provide care in the Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU)
• Float to other units as required
• Manage patients with common diagnoses including neuro, cardiac, trauma, respiratory (COPD, DKA, sepsis), MI, CV step-down, and post-op
• Operate specialty equipment such as temp pacers, chest tubes, A lines, BiPAP, and Neptune Vapo
• Assist with chronic vents (unable to wean; RT support provided)

Requirements

• Up-to-date resume documenting 2+ years of experience in IMCU/PCU and travel nursing
• Skills checklist matching specialty
• Driver’s license with address matching demographics
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• NURSYS Report
• Active New York RN license and verification of all RN licenses (RTO must be included at submission)
• Experience with EPIC EMR

• Patient demographics: 18 years and older (adults)
• 64 beds total, including 15 designated neuro beds
• Scrub color: Navy blue
• Floating required
