About the role
GTT Healthcare Staffing Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN House Supervisor for a position in Rochester, New York.
Responsibilities
- Supervise nursing staff in a hospital setting
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures
- Manage patient care and ensure quality outcomes
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient care
- Assist in the development and implementation of care plans
- Provide guidance and support to nursing staff
- Participate in shift coverage as needed
Requirements
- 40 hours per week
- Shifts can be 8a-4p, 4p-12a, or 12a-8a
- 4 years of RN experience preferred
- NY State License
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
Qualifications
- Experience as a House Supervisor in Med Surg or Tele disciplines
Skills
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of hospital policies and procedures
