Travel Nurse RN - Case Manager, Utilization Review - $2,150 per week

About the Role

AMN Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Case Manager specializing in Utilization Review for an assignment in Portland, Maine. This is a 13-week travel position with a start date of 08/31/2026.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care from admission through discharge, ensuring treatments, services, and resources align with each patient’s medical needs and recovery goals.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and external providers to remove barriers to care, streamline transitions, and support safe, efficient discharge planning.

Requirements

• Active ME or compact RN license
• BLS certification
• 2+ years of recent case management experience in an acute hospital setting
• Skilled experience in discharge planning and care coordination

Qualifications (Preferred)

• 5+ years of recent case management experience in an acute hospital setting

Schedule

• 13-week assignment
• 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts (7:30 AM–4:00 PM or 8:00 AM–4:30 PM)
• Occasional weekend hours available but not required
• Epic system experience

Pay

Pay rate: $1,800.00 - $2,500.00 per week.
