About the role

AMN Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Case Manager for a 13-week assignment in Alexandria, Louisiana. This role involves coordinating patient care from admission through discharge, ensuring treatments, services, and resources align with each patient’s medical needs and recovery goals.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care from admission through discharge.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and external providers to remove barriers to care and streamline transitions.
• Support safe and efficient discharge planning.
• Utilize Midas/InterQual for utilization review.

Requirements

• Active LA or compact RN license.
• BLS certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of acute care hospital experience in the specialty.
• Acute hospital experience in the specialty within the past year with no more than a 90-day break.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of local area resources.
• NATE certification.

Schedule

• 13-week assignment starting 08/31/2026.
• 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM with rotating weekends).

Pay rate: $1,800.00 - $2,500.00 per week.
