About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Night Shift Pharmacist for a 7on/7off schedule at a 44-bed inpatient acute care hospital in Houghton.
Responsibilities
- Review, verify, and dispense medications for inpatient acute care patients
- Provide clinical pharmacy services and drug information to medical and nursing staff
- Monitor patient medication therapy for safety, efficacy, and appropriateness
- Participate in interdisciplinary collaboration to optimize patient outcomes
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, state, and federal regulations
- Oversee medication preparation, compounding, and distribution processes
- Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic medical record system
Qualifications
- Active Pharmacist license (Arizona or eligible for reciprocity)
- Previous inpatient hospital or acute care experience preferred
- Ability to work independently during night shifts
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
- Flexibility and adaptability in a travel assignment setting
