Acute Medicine RN – Inpatient – Night Shift

Role Overview This position involves providing direct patient care in a 24-bed Acute Medical Unit, focusing on assessment, medication administration, patient and family education, wound care, and care coordination. The role requires collaboration with an interdisciplinary team to promote positive patient outcomes and ensure high-quality, patient-centered care. Responsibilities Include Developing and implementing individualized care plans aligned with nursing standards.Assessing physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences and cultural factors.Participating in activities that enhance patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.Educating patients and families on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication use.Supporting a healing environment through professional development and teamwork. Qualifications And Skills Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree required; Bachelor’s preferred.Current RN license.Experience is preferred but not mandatory; ACLS certification is desirable.Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.Ability to work in a safety-sensitive environment, maintaining alertness and safety at all times.
