About the role
Join an Acute Medical Care Unit as a registered nurse, providing exceptional patient care in a community-based hospital setting.
Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care within established standards.
- Promote patient- and family-centered care, education on illness management, and post-treatment needs.
- Ensure patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while participating in professional development.
- Develop and communicate individualized care plans collaboratively with the healthcare team, patients, and families.
- Use critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences and barriers.
Qualifications
- RN license required; ADN, BSN, or MSN preferred.
- No prior experience required; less than 2 years preferred.
- ACLS certification preferred, with support available for certification.
