Acute Medicine Registered Nurse (RN) – Inpatient – Night Shift

About the Role

Provides direct patient care in an acute medical setting, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care. Promotes patient- and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment home care, and medication use. Ensures patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while participating in professional development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and document individualized care plans collaboratively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Utilize critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and cultural considerations.
• Work in a safety-sensitive environment, maintaining alertness and safe practices at all times.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• Educational requirements include a Nursing Diploma, Associate's, or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
• No prior experience required; preferred less than 2 years of experience and a BSN.
• ACLS certification preferred; support available for certification.
