About the role

This is a 13-week travel assignment for a Registered Nurse in the MS/Tele unit at an acute care hospital in New Haven, CT. The facility is a Level 2 trauma center with 511 beds and uses the Epic charting system.

Schedule

• Shift: Days, 4x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:00)
• Start Date: 10/02/2026

Pay

$2,753 to $2,950 weekly, including taxable wages and tax-free expense reimbursements.

Responsibilities & Skills

• Telemetry monitoring and interpretation of dysrhythmias
• Management of dysrhythmias and use of Rapid Response/Code teams
• IV insulin protocols, titration of insulin drips, and heparin protocols
• Feeding tube care and management
• Continuous Bladder Irrigation (CBI)
• Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management and care for renal failure patients
• Blood product administration
• Central line, peripheral line, PICC line, and chest tube management
• Substance withdrawal management
• BiPAP/CPAP, nasal cannula, and oxygen administration (including tanks)
• Tracheostomy care and management
• Isolation precautions/PPE and wound care (including wound vac)

Requirements

• 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse
• CT License or Compact License
• BLS and NIHSS certifications
• Previous Charge Nurse experience preferred
