About the Role

This is a 13-week assignment in an acute-care hospital in New Haven, CT. The facility is a Level 2 trauma center with 511 beds and uses the Epic charting system.

• Interpretation of dysrhythmias
• Isolation Precautions/PPE
• Substance Withdrawal management
• Titration of Insulin drips
• TR Band management
• BiPAP/CPAP management
• Blood Product Administration
• Central line care/management
• Chest tubes-Emerson/PleurEvac
• Continuous Bladder Irrigation (CBI)
• Feeding tube care and management
• Heparin Protocols
• IV insulin protocols
• Management of dysrhythmias
• Oxygen administration via Nasal Cannula or tanks
• Peripheral Line Care/Management
• PICC line management
• Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management
• Renal failure care
• Telemetry (unit monitoring)
• Tracheostomy care/management
• Use of Rapid Response/Code teams
• Wound Care/Wound Vac

Requirements

• 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse
• Active CT license or Compact License
• BLS certification
• NIHSS certification
• Previous Charge Nurse experience (preferred)

Pay

$2,753 to $2,950 weekly (includes taxable wages and tax-free expense reimbursements).

Schedule

• 4 days per week, 12-hour shifts (07:00 – 19:00)
• Start date: 09/25/2026
