Travel MS/Tele Registered Nurse - Make $2,729 to $2,906/week

About the Role

Aya Healthcare offers an immediate opening for a Registered Nurse in the MS/Tele unit at an acute care hospital in Chesapeake, VA. This is a 17-week night-shift assignment with a schedule of four 12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30) per week.

Responsibilities & Skills

• Blood Product Administration
• Central line blood draw
• Heparin and Insulin administration
• Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Isolation Precautions/PPE
• Nasal Cannula and Oxygen administration
• Oral suctioning
• Ortho trauma and spinal cord injury care
• Peripheral Line Care/Management
• PICC line management
• Pre/Post neurosurgery care
• Renal failure management
• Starting and maintaining IVs
• Surgical drains management
• Telemetry - remote monitoring
• Total joint replacement care
• Use of Rapid Response/Code teams
• Wound Care/Wound Vac

Requirements

• 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse
• ACLS and BLS certifications
• Active VA License or Compact License (quick application process, typically 2 weeks or less)
• Experience with Epic charting system
• Previous Charge Nurse experience preferred

Pay

$2,729 to $2,906 weekly, including taxable wages and tax-free expense reimbursements.
