About the Role

• 13-week assignment with a shift from 07:00 to 19:00
• Schedule: 4 days per week, 12-hour shifts
• 1 opening available with a start date of 09/21/2026
• Charting System: Epic
• Facility Type: Acute Care Hospital (Level 3 Trauma, 893 beds)
• Patient Ratios: 5:1 for both day and night shifts
• Compact License Accepted: Yes
• Charting Experience: Required

Responsibilities & Skills

• BiPAP/CPAP management
• Blood Product Administration
• Cardiac Telemetry
• Central line care/management
• Heparin Protocols
• High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC)
• Interpretation of dysrhythmias
• Isolation Precautions/PPE
• IV insulin protocols
• Management of dysrhythmias
• Nasal Cannula
• Non-invasive airway management
• Oxygen administration and oxygen tanks
• Pacemakers (Temporary/Permanent)
• Peripheral Line Care/Management
• PICC line management
• Post Cardiac Angiogram care (TR Band)
• Post MI care
• Pre/Post Cardiac Cath care
• Starting and maintaining IVs
• Telemetry - on the unit monitoring
• Use of Rapid Response/Code teams

Requirements

• 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Licensure: Active NC License or Compact License
• Previous Charge Nurse Experience: Preferred

Pay

$2,536 to $2,729 weekly (includes taxable wages and tax-free expense reimbursements).
