About the role
MedSurg RNs deliver bedside care to diverse patients, performing individualized assessments to develop tailored care plans. They prepare equipment and assist physicians during examinations and treatments.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, administer, and document prescribed medications
- Monitor patients for adverse symptoms and initiate appropriate responses
- Change dressings, insert catheters, and start IVs as needed
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong clinical skills in patient assessment, medication administration, and bedside procedures
- Ability to respond promptly to patient needs and collaborate with medical teams
- Flexibility to work night shifts in a fast-paced environment
