Responsibilities MedSurg RNs provide bedside care for a diverse patient population and develop individualized care plans based on thorough patient assessments. They prepare medical equipment and assist physicians during examinations and treatments. Key duties include: Preparing, administering, and documenting prescribed medicationsMonitoring patients and initiating alternative actions in response to adverse symptomsChanging dressings, inserting catheters, and starting IVs as needed Qualifications & Skills Qualified candidates should have strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to perform procedures accurately.
