They serve as the eyes and ears of Registered Nurses and Physicians, performing ongoing and accurate assessments of vital signs. Key duties include: Administering and monitoring patient medications and dressing changesSupervising nursing assistants and leading a team of nursesIdentifying and resolving issues related to patient care plansAdministering intravenous medications and fluids, as well as maintaining IV lines Qualifications & Skills Licensed Practical Nurse credentialStrong assessment and patient care skillsLeadership ability to supervise and coordinate nursing staffProficiency in medication administration and IV care
