Job Details Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required Education Requirements: NY license in hand required; must have 1 year of relevant experience Location Requirements: Candidates within 75 miles of the facility are not accepted Years of Experience: 0 minimum, with 1 year preferred Schedule: 12-hour shifts, Days, 48 hours per week minimum Float: Float rotation may be required to sister units including West 2, West 3, and Observation unit Patient Ratios: Days 1:5; Nights 1:6 Additional Responsibilities: Managing Ports, BiPAP/CPAP, Blood Products, Chest Tubes, CVA protocols, High Flow Nasal Cannula, Dysrhythmia interpretation, Isolation Precautions, IV insulin, Management of dysrhythmias, MS/Tele, Nasal Cannula, Non-invasive airway management, PCA, Peripheral Line Care, PICC line management, Post MI care, Seizure management, Starting IVs, Substance Withdrawal, Surgical drains, Tracheostomy care, Wound care, and Wound Vac.
