About the role

Travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry position in Saint Louis, MO. Start date: 10/19/2026; duration: 26 weeks; 36 hours per week. Position: RN Level 2 Telemetry Nurse in a Medical Surgical unit with telemetry specialty. This position entails providing direct patient care activities for all age groups in a busy medical surgical telemetry unit. The role involves assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care, ensuring optimal patient outcomes while working within established nursing practice guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for all age groups in a medical surgical telemetry unit.
• Perform assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
• Manage cardiac-related patient conditions such as acute AFIB onset, CHF exacerbations, and postsurgical cardiac or vascular care.
• Float throughout adult medical surgical units as needed; unit ratios approximately 5-6:1.
• Wear scrubs in black color.

Requirements

• Current RN license valid for Missouri or eligible for licensure in Missouri.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of nursing experience.

Skills

• Ability to manage cardiac drips.
• Proficiency operating EKG machine (preferred).
