Job Summary
This position involves providing patient care within a short-term acute care facility, with responsibilities incorporating telemetry monitoring and a variety of clinical procedures. The role requires flexibility to float between units and facilities, ensuring comprehensive patient support.
Job Details
- Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- At least 1 year of clinical experience
- Valid state license (compact license accepted)
- Experience with telemetry monitoring and procedures
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with insulin administration
- Colostomy/ileostomy management
- Patient care for bowel obstructions
Additional Responsibilities
- Managing cardiac drips without titration
- Use of rapid response teams
- Interpreting dysrhythmias
- Caring for adult and geriatric patients
Submission Requirements
- Responses to prior work at healthcare facilities and references covering the last 3 years, with at least 6 months for Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).
