Travel Medical Surgical Telemetry RN - $2,020 per week
Job Summary
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) registered nurses are needed for a healthcare organization in Marshalltown, Iowa. This position involves providing care to telemetry and post-operative surgical patients, including orthopedic and general surgery cases. The role requires reading and measuring telemetry strips and managing patients with various drips and medications in a hospital or medical center setting.
Job Details
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- On-Call: None Required
Qualifications
- 24 months of current Medical Surgical and/or Telemetry nursing experience
- Active Iowa (IA) license or multi-state license
- Skills specific to Medical Surgical and Telemetry
- BLS and ACLS certifications from American Heart Association or ARC/Red Cross
- EPIC charting experience preferred
- Infusion drip experience with insulin, Cardizem, Heparin, and Amiodarone
- Telemetry experience and reading telemetry strips (preferred)
- Orthopedic/orthopedic, or general surgery care experience (preferred)
- EPIC charting experience (preferred)
- Current nursing license in Iowa or multi-state certification (required)

Submission Requirements
- Candidates must submit a resume showing 24 months of current Med Surg/Tele experience

Pay Package
The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
