Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Sioux City, Iowa. Start date: 10/26/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Employment type: Travel. The role is Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) in a general medical and surgical floor setting. Located in a facility that provides care for post-operative patients requiring overnight stays, including surgeries such as prostatectomy, mastectomy, abdominal surgeries, and thyroidectomy. The role involves managing patient care and possibly floating within the same discipline across local campuses.

Responsibilities

• Managing patient care

• Administering heparin drips
• Providing care for post‑operative patients requiring overnight stays
• Handling patients undergoing surgeries such as prostatectomy, mastectomy, abdominal surgeries, and thyroidectomy

Requirements

• Over 2 years of experience in Medical Surgical or Telemetry nursing
• Active Iowa nursing license or license from a compact state
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• NIHSS certification
• Valid driver's license
• Supervisory reference form completed within the last two years

Qualifications

• First‑time travelers are acceptable
• Experience in a Level 3 Trauma Center is advantageous
