About the role

The Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS/Telemetry) Registered Nurse provides patient care utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. The registered nurse demonstrates leadership, critical thinking, and clinical judgment to ensure the safe delivery of care, maintaining competency through continuing education. This float-pool position requires flexibility to work across four facilities: Northwest Medical Center, Oro Valley Hospital, Northwest Houghton, and Northwest Sahuarita.

Schedule

• Night shift: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 3 shifts of 12 hours per week
• Minimum 36 hours per week
• Float rotation may be required between departments and facilities

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care utilizing the Nursing Process
• Maintain competency through continuing education
• Demonstrate leadership, critical thinking, and clinical judgment

Requirements

• Valid Arizona RN license
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
• 2+ years of clinical experience
• Ability to float between departments and facilities

• Experience with Cerner electronic medical record system

Pay

Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
